When to visit ......Nepal

Due to the great topographic range of this amazingly diverse country,  it is difficult to generalize weather patterns.

However, it should be noted that the highest amount of rainfall occurs during the monsoon season, between June and September. The rain may hamper access to certain areas.

For the high altitude regions in the Himalayas, October and November are the best times to travel.

During the winter months, January and February, the lowland regions attract the most visitors.

March to May is an ideal time to head for the mountains since this is the flowering season of the rhododendrons and many alpine flowers.
